Arizona Renaissance Fair

Are you looking for a unique and exciting way to spend a weekend this spring with your toddler? The Arizona Renaissance Fair is the perfect destination! Located at 12601 East US Highway 60 in Gold Canyon, Arizona, the Renaissance Fair offers a wide array of interactive activities, performances, and delicious food sure to please any young one.

As you enter the fairgrounds, you and your toddler will be immediately transported back to the 16th century where you can explore the village, watch live performances, take part in hands-on activities, and even meet the King and Queen of the Fair. Your toddler can explore the petting zoo, learn about medieval history, and get their face painted with a beautiful design. Tickets for the Arizona Renaissance Fair are currently priced at $34 for adults, $22 for children (ages 5-12), and children 4 and under get in for free. Hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays from February 4th to April 2nd. There are discounts for purchasing your tickets online, as well as if you buy them from Basha's grocery stores. If youre looking for the ideal day to visit, Sunday is the best day of the week to go. Not only are the crowds usually a bit smaller than on Saturdays. We happened to go the Saturday of opening weekend this year, which we thought would be mobbed, but it was actually one of the most enjoyable times we have ever gone to the Ren Fair. All of the staff were in excellent moods, everything was clean, and the crowds were very manageable - lines flowed smoothly and easily.

The whole fair is very stroller and baby friendly, with changing tables in the restrooms. I am very much looking forward to my son being a little older so he can dress up and have a bit more fun, but there was plenty for him to see and enjoy from the vantage of his stroller. Some personal favorites: Birds of Prey show, fire whip show, Mermaids, Faeries, the Wyld Men, and Tartanic. The jousting competitions are obviously a must see as well. So if youre looking for a fun and educational way to spend a weekend with your toddler, make sure to check out the Arizona Renaissance Fair. With its interactive activities and performances, your toddler is sure to have a blast!
