Phoenix Zoo Lights

If you're looking for a fun and festive holiday outing in Phoenix, Arizona, consider visiting the Phoenix Zoo Lights. Located at 455 North Galvin Parkway, the Phoenix Zoo Lights is a magical winter wonderland that is sure to delight kids of all ages.

One of the best things about the Phoenix Zoo Lights is its affordable pricing. In 2022, admission for toddlers (ages 2 and under) is free, and admission for older kids and adults is just $35 per person. This makes it a great option for families on a budget. There are discounts for buying ahead online, and Members of the Zoo also get reduced rates ($25 per adult).

The best time to visit the Phoenix Zoo Lights is during the evenings, when the lights are at their brightest and most dazzling. The event runs daily from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, so you can plan your visit for a time that works best for your family. Note: we made the mistake of trying to get in during the week of Christmas, and it was jam packed, with cars parking in the overflow lot. We chose to wait for the crowds to die down and go after Christmas, which definitely made it a more relaxing experience, but going in the weeks leading up to Christmas would have added to the "magic". Next year, we will target going in the beginning of December to avoid crowds and get the holiday excitement brewing.

When you arrive at the Phoenix Zoo Lights, your toddler will be amazed by the colorful displays and twinkling lights that can be found throughout the park. In addition to the stunning light displays, there are also a variety of fun holiday activities and events to enjoy, such as visits with Santa, live music, and hot cocoa stations.

One of the highlights of the Phoenix Zoo Lights is the opportunity to see the animals at night. Many of the animals at the Phoenix Zoo are nocturnal, so the lights provide a unique opportunity to see them in their natural habitat. Your toddler will love watching the animals as they move about their exhibits.

Overall, the Phoenix Zoo Lights is a fantastic holiday outing for families with young children. The affordable pricing, beautiful light displays, and opportunity to see the animals make it a must-see event in Phoenix. So if you're in the area with your toddler, be sure to check it out!
